本人刚接触linux，自己用光盘装了个ubuntu8.04。我用的是学校的铁通网，是自动获取ip的，每次登录ip都不一样。我按照帮助文件中的方法用pppeo程序联网，但怎么也联不上。还没有输入用户名、密码时就提示"Sorry, I scanned 1 interface, but the Access Concentrator of your provider did not respond. Please check your network and modem cables. Another reason for the scan failure may also be another running pppoe
process which controls the modem. "
