今天在按照如下方法安装中文输入法时，注销（重启后），再登陆时，尽管密码是对的，但是屏幕一闪之后仍是登时登陆界面，这样无限循环下去，始终进入不了桌面....，但是可以Ctrl + Alt +F1（~F6）进入到tty界面。

安装以后在/etc/X11/Xsession.d下面新建一个文件，名为25xchinput-start
其文件内容是这样写的：
export G_FILENAME_ENCODING=@UTF-8
export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
fcitx&

查了下资料，遇到这种问题的人还真不少，回答的人也有一些，但均没有给出原因，也没说清楚为什么，倒是看到很多种建议，比如：（1）在tty下重启Xwindow：startx（2）在tty下重装桌面sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop。结果都未能成功，看的越多对问题的理解也就越清楚，废话不说，直奔主题，问题是export的变量出现了问题，注销掉即可。
表层原因方面（引参考信息2）：例如在终端控制台输入：export TEST_ENV='test_enviroment',这时候就添加了TEST_ENV这一环境变量，通过命令：env | grep TEST_ENV能够查到，而且 echo $TEST_ENV的值正是test_enviroment,注消之后，这个环境变量就不存在了。如果写入文件一般的文件。之后source它，或者放到/etc/profile 等等的位置里，就是长期有效，不同的地方效果不同。
我就把export那两行注释掉，或者干脆把Xsession.d这个文件rm掉就可以了（注意，仅仅apt-get purge fcitx并不能删除25xchinput-start文件）。
本质原因，是由于用户输入正确密码后，系统会加载个人主目录下的隐藏文件.bashrc .profile等，这些文件最终会指向/etc/下的文件，如这里的/etc/profile, /etc/X11/Xsession.d等，如果它们中的变量设置错误，就无法进一步加载桌面了。道理如此、至于具体如何实现的还有待高人解答。
