Picasa是一个由Google开发的免费照片管理软件, Google今天宣布推出linux下的预测试版本(pre-beta), 版本号为2.2.2820-5. 该软件使用了wine和mozilla开源技术, 但不是开源软件.
总大小: 24Mb. Picasa软件(9Mb), Wine(12Mb)和Gecko引擎(3Mb).
系统需求:
1. Picasa可工作于任何使用Intel 386兼容处理器的linux系统上, 使用glibc 2.3或者更高的版本, 使用X11显示系统.
2. 桌面集成功能需要当前版本的Gnome或kde系统支持.
3. 摄像头检测和集成需要linux内核版本大于或等于2.6.13, hal版本大于等于0.56和gnome-volume-manager或相当的.
4. 现只提供picasa的英文版本.

安装方法:
1. rpm格式
安装
$ su
# rpm -Uvh /tmp/picasa-2.2.2820-5.i386.rpm
# exit
启动
/usr/bin/picasa

安装
$ sudo dpkg -i /tmp/picasa_2.2.2820-5_i386.deb

$ su

3. bin格式
安装之前把bin文件拷贝到/tmp/目录下
